WHY I BELIEVE IN NASCAR
I’m a racing fan. I still get excited by the side-by-side competition and close finishes that NASCAR provides. This is the hallmark of NASCAR racing, but so is the passion of all NASCAR fans. This year, NASCAR is celebrating 60 years of racing since its inception in 1948. I’m sure my grandfather, “Big Bill” France, and my father, Bill France Jr., would be proud of the sport’s broad fan base and appeal. One of the things both my father and grandfather always imparted upon me is the idea that in NASCAR, everyone has something to contribute. Whether you’re a sponsor, a jackman on pit road, or a fan – we each make contributions to the sport through our participation, and we are all equal partners in the sport’s continued success. And that’s why I believe in NASCAR so fully. Simply put, NASCAR brings people together. NASCAR is truly a place where everyone matters. This is part of our heritage and our tradition. In NASCAR, you’re welcome here, and you’re appreciated here. And you always will be. From everyone in NASCAR, welcome to our community. We think you’ll like it here. Brian Z. France
